Dr. KC Walsh

Marriage & Family Therapist | ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider

"Welcome! I'm glad you're here."

I am a Marriage & Family Therapist and an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider with a doctorate in psychology. Throughout my career, I have worked in juvenile justice, community mental health, behavioral health care, and outpatient therapy — supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of life's challenges. Two areas that are especially meaningful to me are ADHD and the military community. I am passionate about helping individuals with ADHD better understand how their brains work, recognize their unique strengths, and develop practical strategies that allow them to thrive. I also have a deep appreciation for serving active-duty military members, veterans, and military families.

In addition to these specialties, I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, compassion fatigue, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the effects of stressful or toxic work environments.

My Approach

I don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Every client brings a unique story, personality, and set of goals into the therapy room. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Solution-Focused Therapy
Family Systems Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

What You Can Expect

The first step is getting to know one another. Research consistently shows that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy — and I couldn't agree more.

  • Build a trusting therapeutic relationship
  • Explore the challenges bringing you to therapy
  • Better understand your emotions, thoughts, and behavioral patterns
  • Identify strengths that can support your growth
  • Develop practical coping strategies
  • Improve communication and relationships
  • Create meaningful, lasting changes that align with your goals and values

My hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling more confident, more resilient, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges. Whether you're seeking support for ADHD, military-related stress, anxiety, burnout, or a major life transition, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
